Low Muscle Tone in Children



This is a new book which is aimed at parents, teachers and therapists. It is written by Pamela Dawson who has a master of Physiotherapy.






Children with low muscle tone may present the following symptoms:



  • balance problems

  • deficient eye-hand coordination

  • gross and fine motor problems

  • postural deviations


Secondary manifestations may include:



  • reduced concentration

  • decreased sporting ability

  • scholastic difficulty

  • socio-emotional manifestations


If correctly managed, the symptoms are completely reversible.
